HISTORY AND CULTURE OF BARRIO SEMBRANO
Many years ago, the barrio of Sembrano was a part of Sulipa. It was formerly known as Rangayan. Don Fructoso Sembrano owned a wide tract of land in the place so they named the place in his memory. The barrio was established in 1924. Its first Teniente del barrio was Mariano Valera. He was succeeded by manuel Asuncion. Others who served as tenientes were Victoriano Pascua, Florentino Capinding, Lorenzo Millado, Segundo Valete, Urano Valete, and Maximo Capinding.
