THIS FEBRUARY 18, 2022 USAID AND THE MUNICIPALITY OF GERONA IN THE PROVINCE OF TARLAC FORMALIZED THEIR COMMITMENT TO IMPLEMENT COMMUNITY BASED DRUG REHABILITATION (CBDR) SERVICES IN THE MUNICIPALITY


USAID and the Municipality of Gerona in the Province of Tarlac formalized their commitment to implement Community Based Drug Rehabilitation (CBDR) services in the municipality. The local government of Gerona committed to provide CBDR services to its communities and contribute to the country’s goal of drug demand reduction while USAID will help build the capacity of Gerona’s community facilitators and health providers to conduct screening, and provide evidenced-based and culturally appropriate CBDR treatment interventions.
