Josemaria Escriva Parish. Known locally as Parokya ni San Josemaria Escriva or the Diocesan Shrine of St. Josemaria Escriva, it is the first Church in the country and in Asia dedicated to the Saint. The St. Josemaria Escriva Parish is unique for its “drive-through” view of the Blessed Sacrament.

DESIGNED BY:

Fr. Alex Bautista which formally opened in 2013. The church is also home to a relic of St. Jose Maria Escriva, founder of Opus Dei. Most Rev. Florentino Cinense, the bishop of Tarlac, established the parish on February 24, 2003.

LOCATION

Located 140 kilometers north of Manila on the MacArthur Highway, the parish church is located in Barrio Magaspac, Gerona, Tarlac (Philippines).
